Role Overview:
A Salesforce Technical Lead is responsible for translating business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions, providing technical guidance to development teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of Salesforce projects. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications, managing integrations, and staying current with the latest Salesforce platform updates.
Key responsibilities also include leading requirements analysis, defining technical architecture and design, data modeling, integration strategy, code reviews, troubleshooting, and sprint planning to ensure high-quality and efficient project delivery.
Core Responsibilities:
Translating Business Needs: Understand and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for Salesforce solutions.
Technical Design and Implementation: Design, build, and configure scalable Salesforce applications, solutions, and integrations.
Development and Coding: Develop custom solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce technologies.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct unit testing, code reviews, debugging, and ensure adherence to coding standards and Salesforce best practices.
Deployment and Support: Manage deployments across environments, provide application support, and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure system stability and performance.
Leadership and Team Management:
Team Leadership: Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to development team members, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Project Management: Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, address challenges, and deliver effective Salesforce solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development efficiency, solution quality, and overall project outcomes.
Technical Expertise:
Salesforce Platform: Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other relevant Salesforce products and modules.
Integration: Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems, applications, APIs, and third-party platforms.
Data Modeling: Design and implement scalable data models to support business requirements and Salesforce solutions.
Performance Optimization: Monitor, analyze, and optimize Salesforce performance to ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues across Salesforce applications, integrations, and custom solutions.
